Join the Center for Photography at Woodstock (CPW) on July 18th and 19th for the return of our popular, in-person portfolio review. Artists will be invited to show and get feedback about their work with seasoned curators, photo editors, publishers, established artists, and educators over the course of two days in the heart of Kingston, NY. Up to 30 participants will be selected from the pool of applicants. Each selected artist will receive six reviews, based on their indicated preferences for reviewers. We will do our best to accommodate each artist with their chosen reviewers. Note that this year’s portfolio review coincides with Upstate Arts Weekend, which runs July 17-20.
Each participant will have 6 reviews, 20 minutes each throughout the morning session (9-12 pm) and afternoon session (1:30-3:30pm) on either Friday, July 18 or Saturday, July 19, depending on who they are requesting and reviewers’ availability.
Upon conclusion of the portfolio reviews, one participating artist, selected by reviewers collectively, will be invited to exhibit in our community gallery in 2026.
Note: portfolio reviews are in-person only, at CPW, 25 Dederick Street, Kingston, NY.
